Merry Christmas.

Do you have a box of old Christmas photos that you never got around to scrapbooking?  And the fact that they're a little worn, or have a vintage look to them (because developing film in the past came with an off white hue), has left you not wanting to add it to bright and cool Christmas colors of our latest collections?  I think I can help with that.

The Simple Stories line "Very Merry" has all the holiday warm fuzzy feels to it.  The pattern paper itself is very textured and thick.  The colors are not so bright, so your vintage photos will blend perfectly with them, and the design on the embellishments and stickers are a great match for any Christmas shot.  For my layout, I sprayed red Studio Calico spritzes all over the center of the page, added red doilies, and fussy cut a lot of the flowers from their pattern paper.  I used green gingham paper and red dotted paper to created a background for the photo.  Then added touches of chipboard stickers from the same line.  I finished it off with a journaled tag and sequins.  I love that the sequins bring the magic of Christmas to life!

Whether you're documenting your holiday tree, your favorite cookies, or a fun sleigh ride, you can find a sorts of Christmas and Hanukkah lines in the Paper Issues shop that will suit your memory keeping needs.
